Wine of the Month | Two Characters, One Story

20.08.2026

This September, we're choosing not one, but two wines from our portfolio and intentionally presenting them together. Riesling Q Wines and Sauvignon Blanc Q Wines are two white varieties that couldn't be more different from each other. And that's exactly why they're worth trying side by side.

Riesling Q Wines
Riesling is perhaps the most intellectual white variety in the world. Its father is from the Rhine, but it also feels at home on the Black Sea coast – the sea freshness preserves what makes it unique: the bright, almost cutting acidity and the aromas of lemon, white peach and wet stone. In its riper versions it develops a characteristic note of petroleum – we consider it a mark of a classic Riesling with aging potential. Despite its fruity profile, it is often completely dry. Drink it cold (and sip it slowly…).

Classic food pairing: Grilled fish with lemon and herbs – the acidity of the wine acts as a natural marinade and refreshes every bite.

Sauvignon Blanc Q Wines
Sauvignon Blanc is its antipode – extroverted, immediate, provocative. In its Black Sea expression, where our Sauvignon comes from, the wine develops more delicate but tangible herbal notes: lime peel, peas, white pepper and freshly cut grass, with a light salty-spicy finish. While Riesling makes you think, Sauvignon Blanc makes you want another sip. The two wines are like two different interlocutors at the same table.

Classic food pairing: Goat cheese – its saltiness and creamy texture are a natural counterpoint to the „green“ freshness of the wine. A classic for a reason!
