The Founders’ dinner | 23 September, The Winery, Junó Hotel
On 23 September, 33 of us gathered around one table at The Winery, the wine club at Sofia’s Junó Hotel, for an evening that officially marked the beginning of the Zornitza Wine Society. Guests met one another, enjoyed the food and wines, and, as the evening unfolded, discovered something important: they had more in common than they had expected. Different people, different stories, but the same outlook on life – the belief that the world is a better place with a glass of good wine in hand. It was around this idea that our Zornitza Wine Society was born. Not as a club of rules and protocols, but as a community of people for whom wine is an invitation to meet, to talk, to share beautiful moments and the pleasure of beautiful places. The guests got to know each other, enjoyed the food and the wines, and over the course of the evening discovered something important: that they share more than they had expected. It was around this very idea that our club, Zornitza Wine Society, was born. Not as a club with rules and protocols, but as a society of people for whom wine is a reason to meet, to talk, to share the pleasure of beautiful moments, a memory of beautiful places.
